Is someone showing addictive behaviour to gambling if they bet on all the major horse races e.g ascot £100?
and play online games like poker though for fake chips and sun bingo games etc for nothing?

I would say if it’s only MAJOR races & festivals a person bets on, it’s not really an addiction. Addiction would be betting on every race, spending the last of your money on a bet. If this person is gambling within their means, can afford to lose what they bet, and only bets on highly publicised races, I’d say they simply enjoy a bet every now & then & it’s not too much to worry about just yet. I play online games too lol but I can safely say I don’t have an addiction
